Explain what
you do.
Give your services room to make sense. Clear descriptions, relevant details and sensible groupings help visitors work out whether you take on their kind of job.

A good page answers the questions someone has before they call. I bring the useful details together, with a design that feels like your business.
Give your services room to make sense. Clear descriptions, relevant details and sensible groupings help visitors work out whether you take on their kind of job.
Services · Capabilities · Areas of focusTurn a few photos you choose into a considered showcase. Short captions can explain the request, the work involved and the details a new customer would want to see.
Project photos · Useful context · Your own workPut the right contact action where people need it, with guidance on what to send. The page connects to a supported email, phone or inquiry route that fits how you already work.
Clear contact · Helpful prompts · A familiar processA manageable place to start. One named page, up to five sections, your approved words and images, and a layout made for phones as well as desktops.

03 / WORKING TOGETHER
You know your business. I turn that knowledge into a useful page, with a chance to review the design before it goes live.
Show me the page and what you want it to do. We check the platform, agree on the scope and settle the quote before work starts.
I build a preview using the facts and assets you approve. You review the page, with one consolidated round of revisions included.
Once you approve, I publish through the agreed route and check the page and contact path. There is a 14 day window for fixing defects in my work.
THE PERSON BEHIND BENCHBEAM
I run Benchbeam Web, an independent website design business based in New York.
Good work often has plenty of detail behind it. My job is to make the parts your customers need easy to find and comfortable to read.
You work directly with me, Joseph Forti, from the first conversation to the final review. We start with a useful, agreed piece of your website and give it the attention it deserves.
Tell me about your businessA FEW PRACTICAL QUESTIONS
That is the starting point. I look at your platform, editor access and hosting first, then confirm what is practical. I will agree on the publishing route with you before committing to the work.
Not necessarily. A service page, project showcase or inquiry page can be a useful first step. The starter scope is one named page with up to five sections, connected to the rest of your site.
Your current website, the purpose of the page and someone who can approve the work. Once the scope is agreed, we gather the business details, photos and logos you have permission to use, along with the access needed for the agreed publishing route.
No. It is an original fictional example that shows my approach to design and navigation. The illustrated projects are concepts. A page for your business would use your approved facts, work and voice.
LET’S START WITH YOUR WEBSITE
Send me your current site and a little about what you have in mind. I’ll take a look and we can work out whether a focused page is the right next step.
